Pins are available for a variety of purposes to suit many industries.
Locating Pins are primarily used to accurately position and help secure the work piece in relation to the work holder and the cutting tool, especially useful for highly repetitive work where a close tolerance is required to be maintained.
Cylindrical or Dowel Pins are used to retain parts and components in a fixed position or to preserve alignment.
Tapered Pins are more suited for parts which are frequently driven in and out, where if dowel pins were used they can wear out the hole.
Ejector Pins are metal rods that push a finished casting out of the die.
